Community Involvement

At Monona State Bank, we're a member of your community, dedicated to making the areas we serve a great place to live, work and raise a family.

Commitment to Community

Supporting community projects like the Monona Sting Event, the Memorial Day and Cottage Grove Firemen's parades, the Monona and Cottage Grove Public Libraries and schools, and the Monona Fourth of July Community Festival.

Supporting our communities through annual donations and employee volunteer projects is the way we do business. Our community minded staff enjoys volunteering in a variety of ways: reading to children at the library, organizing holiday employee giving programs, speaking to students about financial products and planning and serving lunch to local seniors every month. Over 90% of our staff gives to the United Way and/or Community Shares programs.

Because we're locally owned and operated, the money you save with us stays in the community to finance local businesses and homes. You can feel good investing in a local bank that is as committed to community as you are.

Contribution Policy

Monona State Bank supports many community groups and events. Because of the volume of requests for support that we receive, we have developed a corporate policy to help us focus our support effectively.
